DASRAS Company, founded in 1981, is a furniture manufacturer. It is located in the West of France in the Pays de Loire region, or to be more exact, in the Mayenne Department (53).

At the beginning, the company is a craft family business working in carpentry, fitting, and furniture. Eight people are employed. Its 200 square meter workshop is located in the market town of Méral. Working mainly with private individuals, it decides on a change in direction, and concentrates on furniture retailers.

For this purpose, it recruited two general salesmen to cover the areas of the West, North, East and the Rhone. Increasing activity along with the premises being too confined, the Company envisages relocation to the industrial area, the move to premises of 1,200 square meters having taken place in May 1984. For more than 20 years the company has not ceased to expand and has reached now 7,000 square meters of buildings (raw material storage, production, and finishing)

In September 2003 the company took possession of its new furniture finishing building (surface of 1,600 square meters).With constant concern for the best quality price ratio the company continues to invest.

As of today the Company has a staff of 46. A sales network of eight representatives for France, two agents for Germany, one for Belgium, one for England and one for Spain.

Company activity is mainly that of table manufacture: custom made dining room tables, console-tables, writing tables, and coffee tables.Our products are in the middle and high quality range and are of traditional manufacture. Main types of wood used are wild cherry, oak, and walnut.
