Label VIA 2019 (Valorisation de l'Innovation dans l'Ameublement) for the Workspace project
The VIA label promotes creativity in the furniture sector.
We received it in 2019 for the Workspace project, imagined by studio Briand & Berthereau.
Studio Briand & Berthereau works on 2 creative scales complementary : furniture design and design space.
In both cases, ways of responding join forces and tend to reduce borders; the Workspace is a perfect example.
THE WORKSPACE RANGE, A NEW WAY OF DESIGNING SPACES
Freely inspired by new ways of working, we wanted to find a coherent response to the challenges multiple uses of these spaces. In search of a form of frugality, we have sought to redefine seating and its satellite objects through timeless, elegant design.
The Workspace range is an almost mathematical answer in terms of appearance. appearance:
– its sober design clearly highlights the functions of each object in the range;
– modules are assembled in a harmonious/logical way, allowing you to compose as required.
From the range no longer reacts as one piece of furniture with another piece of furniture but as part of a whole. The sets thus form a cartography that can be used to design all types of spaces and needs.
