GEOFFROY DESTRUEL
Born in Paris in 1988, Geoffroy Destruel has always shown a passionate interest in the way everyday objects are designed and manufactured.. This fascination led him tostudies in industrial design at Strate College, where he developed a distinctive approach, fusing aesthetics and functionality in each of his projects.
Graduating in 2012He began his career at Studio OraIto, where he worked on everything from furniture to retail concepts.Attracted by spaces as much as volumes, he nurtured his experience with Marcelo Joulia at Naço Architecture, where he worked with manufacturers on both objects and space layouts.In 2018, he decided to set up his own design studio and began drawing his own creations. His sketches take him on a journey Portugal and Greece to work directly with furniture manufacturers. Constantly moving between furniture, objects and space, he has been working for the Pernod-Ricard group for the past 5 years, supporting its luxury champagne and spirits brands.The encounter with Ateliers Lignartis came naturally at the Maison & Objet show, where several pieces were on display. This encounter gave birth to the Eden chair.
